Suggested Mounting Instructions
Wall or Vertical Surface:
- Position the spice rack in the desired location (may be installed either horizontally or vertically).
- Mark position with pencil or through predrilled mounting holes.
- Use wall anchors (not included) for plaster or drywall. Screw unit into position.
Underneath Cabinet
- Remove one end of spice rack along with the carousel using a #2 Phillips screw driver.
- Position the spice rack in the desired location, (be sure to leave room for reassembling the spice rack end).
- Mark position with pencil or awl through predrilled mounting holes.
- Determine cabinet shelf thickness (in many cases it will measure ½ inch) add the ½ inch thickness of the spice rack surface to get the total thickness. This thickness will dictate the length of the screws needed (must be purchased separately).
- Drill screw holes approximately ¼ inch deep
- Reposition rack
- Screw snugly to surface.
- Re-assemble carousel components, spice rack end, and gently tap mushroom plugs (included) into mounting holes.
Other Notes: Under cabinet installations may also be accomplished from the inside of the cabinet through the shelf surface by drilling downward to attach the spice rack underneath. In most cases (4) 1 inch flush mount screws can be used (not included). With this method, do not lineup with predrilled installation holes in spice rack.
